This weekend, over 2,000 men and women have gathered from Spanish-speaking countries all over the world to attend our annual Expositors Conference. As the conference begins, we encourage you to pray for the speakers and attendees as they consider this year's topic, "Jesus Christ, the Matchless One."
All general sessions will be livestreamed on the conference website.
Proclaiming the True Gospel
By the grace of God, the Spanish-speaking church is experiencing a reformation of its doctrine, leadership, and preaching. While God has continued to raise up qualified men to preach and lead local churches in these countries, the Spanish-speaking church is faced with the ongoing need for doctrinal reformation. In particular, issues of Christology are at the forefront of this endeavor—since, as Paul says in 1 Corinthians 15:3–4, preaching Christ is of first importance to the advancement of the gospel.
For this very reason, we are calling upon pastors, leaders, and church members from Spanish-speaking churches all over the world to join us on September 17–18, 2021 for our annual Spanish Expositors’ Conference (Conferencia Expositores). This year’s theme will be “The Matchless Jesus Christ” (Jesucristo El Inigualable), and will feature speakers such as John MacArthur, Henry Tolopilo, Josiah Grauman, Paul Washer, Miguel Nuñez, Sugel Michelén, and Joel Beeke. We look forward to the ministry of these faithful men, who are themselves on the frontlines of contending for the truth against the theological aberrations of today.
We encourage you to support us by praying for this event, as we anticipate hosting over 2,000 attendees from Spanish-speaking countries all over the world. Please also pray for our speakers as they prepare to challenge and encourage the attendees in this important doctrine. Our desire is that the Lord will use this conference to stir the hearts of many men and women to see the magnitude of a high view of Christ.
Another way to support this conference is by donating toward our scholarship fund. There are many pastors, leaders, and church members who have expressed a desire to come but do not have the means to register.
Finally, we would encourage any bilingual Spanish-speakers here in our own congregation who would like to learn more about the conference to drop by our table on the Chapel Patio today or visit conferenciaexpositores.org. For those interested in attending or encouraging others to attend, registration will close on September 1.
